 Rent
Unless otherwise stated, the rent given on the website includes all bills and also DSL. But you should still always double check the price when you talk to the landlord or the landlady. You always pay the rent to the landlord - either by bank transfer, in cash when you arrive or by PayPal. If you don't live in a country with Euro currency, Paypal is usually much cheaper than a bank transfer.

Commission fee for 1 months +
If you rent an apartment or a room, we charge the following fees:
25% of monthly rent + VAT (19%, from Jan 1, 2007)
Example: If the monthly rent is 500 €, our fee is 25% of 500 = 125€ + 19% VAT = 148,75€. Please find our commission fee table here.
In the case of months already started, commission will be calculated to the exact day. Where the original agreed tenancy period is extended after concluding a tenancy contract, an additional charge is due in line with the table of commission fees, providing the maximum commission of 145% (apartment) or 100% (room) respectively of the monthly rent has not already been due.
Commission fee for less than 1 month
If you rent for less than one month, you pay 25% + VAT of the rent agreed with the landlord, at least 50€ + VAT.
