 Payment of rent
You have to arrange the payment of the rent with the landlady, - lord. Normally, you pay a deposit when you agree to rent the flat (some landlords don't ask for a deposit when you rent a room) and make the contract. Sometimes you also pay the first rent with the deposit.
The rent always has to be paid by the third of the month (German law).
Please also arrange with the landlord, how you pay the rent (cash, bank transfer, PayPal (PayPal fees will be charged to you). Landlords can't be paid through us or by credit card.
Payment of Crocodilian-Rooms in Berlin
Our fee is due when you conclude a rental contract - either in written or oral form. Both, the landlord and the subtenant have to inform us about the rental, the rental period and the rent she or he is going to pay. It is a one-off, not a monthly payment but if you extent the rental contract, you get another invoice. The maximum payment for a flat is 145% and for a room 100%.
You also have to inform us if you agree with the landlord to extend your stay. In this case, you also have to pay commission fee according to our commission fee table. The commission fee is due when the extention of the stay is concluded. If you leave prematurely, we can't pay back the commission fee you have already paid. If your main residence is not Germany and you don't have a German bank account, you can only pay by credit card.
Our Guarantee
Crocodilian-Rooms in Berlin guarantees, that we only debit your credit card, if you rent an apartment through us. Otherwise there won't be any costs.You will also receive an invoice via email. If you want to receive an invoice via postal service. will charge you another 10€.
