Complaints - renting Apartment in Berlin

Crocodilian is dedicated to help people from all over the world to find a furnished apartment in Berlin for a limited period of time, from one month to a whole year, sometimes even longer. But of course, we also get complaints. But only from a small percentage of all the tenants ( in 2011, it has been 0,5% until November.) We do our best to avoid complaints. That's why we check all apartments before we market them and we also know the owners. We have been working with most of our owners for years. Crocodilian does not market all apartments offered to us, only the ones that pass our quality control (about 10%).  

Reasons for Complaints when renting an aparment in Berlin

Not understanding the Service

We are brokers of furnished apartments. The German rental laws are quite complicated, and most owners would not rent out an apartment without an agency. The Berlin market is pretty much owner-friendly, which means owners most often can chose between tenants. Owners always rely on us that we sent them tenants who pay the rent, treat their apartment accordingly and stick to the rules.
