Vacation rental Berlin -Photos

1. A picture says more than a thousand words. Tenants don't want to buy a pig in a poke. Most of them are not in Berlin yet and they book an accommodation without having seen it. Which is actually more convenient for both sides, since it saves you from showing your flat to a lot of potential tenants. 
   Your chances of finding a tenant are very good, if the photos are. Please send the pictures (6-20) in  jpeg format to  crocodilian@rooms-in-berlin.com. If you don't have a digital camera, you can also book out photo service (9€) - free of charge if you want to advertise your object with us long term.

3. When taking pictures, you should pay attention to:
   Choice: We can put up to 20 pictures online. You don't have to send us 20, but we would appreciate, if you'd send us various pictures to choose from. There should be at least one photo of every room - also of the bathroom, kitchen, hall, balcony. Since most tenants don't know Berlin that well, pictures of the surrounding area (view from the balcony, house, street etc.) are also most welcome.   
   
   Your apartment: Please take photos when your place is in a "presentable" condition. If you live there, it is quiet obvious, that you can't move out your personal belongings for the picture, but you will achieve better results when your flat looks cleaned and tidy.There should not be too many things lying around, because this looks even worse on the picture.Tenants prefer flats which have a personal touch, but are not cluttered.   
   
   Lightness:  Please also pay attention, that the photos are light enough. It is best to use a flash. If the photos are too dark, we can try to light it up a bit, but the quality will suffer. Please don't take pictures against the light. Photos taken in the evening or during the night, should also be avoided, since they tend to look dark and gloomy. 
   
   Size: At least 700x 500 pixel, as jpeg. We prefer landscape format (at least most of the pictures should be landscape format). 
   
   Photos taken with an artistic eye: Please try to take photos without cutting off half of the sofa or putting the dustbin in the centre of your composition. We and all of our clients appreciate photos taken with a bit of an "artistic eye" and it is worth taking some time in order to get good results. We also recommend to take pictures of the whole room as well as more detailed photos.
