Deposit has to be arranged with landlord
You always negotiate the deposit with the landlord or the landlady. If you rent a flat, you normally pay a deposit to the landlady or the landlord. They take it for security reason, in case you damage anything in the flat. In any case, you have to negotiate the deposit with the landlord. Normally you pay a higher deposit, when you stay longer.
You should pay attention, that you get back your deposit the day you move out of the flat. (this field has to be ticked on our standard contract which is available in English and in German.
